Application Requirements
To work with Trafficwerx NT as a Traffic Controller in the NT, candidates must have completed the mandatory training and certifications:
Current WZ2 and WZ3 ticket holders are also eligible to apply.
Interstate ticket holders can transfer their tickets to the NT’s Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) framework.

DAMA Sponsorship Opportunities (2025 Update)
Traffic Controller is now on the Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) skilled occupation list for the Northern Territory. Trafficwerx NT is an approved DAMA sponsor.
We currently sponsor Traffic Controllers for long-term work and residency in the NT. After six months of employment with us, international candidates may be eligible for the DAMA sponsorship program, providing a pathway to stable employment and long-term residency in the Northern Territory.
